M.E. Communication Systems
M.E. Communication Systems is a two-year Post-Graduate Engineering course offered by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in the year 2007 with present student intake of 18. This Programme is operated with the motto of continuous improvement coupled with a passion for innovation really drives the pursuit of the best practices. We are also committed to ensure that no one is left behind, no one is neglected and none is forgotten in the mission of nation-building through higher learning. With honesty as an intention, fair as an evaluation, transparency in our deeds and ethical in our personal and professional conduct we stand up for personal and public scrutiny. Students are valued towards building capacity through trust in others’ abilities and habituating respect as the benchmark of collective effort in their social journey. The curriculum and syllabus for the programs offered in the department are designed as per Regulation 2022 of the autonomous system. The M.E program is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of the mathematical, theoretical, practical and application aspects of Communication area. The curriculum comprises of subjects related to the Green communication, Cognitive Radio networks, Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Advanced Wireless Communication and Networks, Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems and Massive MIMO and mmWave Systems and 5G Technology in par with the current state of art technologies. Also, M.E in Communication Systems forms the fundamental premise for collection of computational paradigms for communication networks, energy efficient architecture and protocols aiming to deliver ubiquitous, secure and resilient next generation networks. This program also provides insights into the design aspects of wireless communication systems using computational optimization.
