Alumni Meetings

Alumni Meet is a gathering of passed out students of an institution and it is a place where the institution feels proud on seeing its successful alumni. During the meet, the alumni students shares their experience in the outside world, which they faced after stepping out of the institution.

Alumni Chapters

The Alumni associations offer networking opportunities, which can connect recent graduates with established professionals and help people pursue career changes. Alumni associations might offer online career fairs or host virtual networking events with tips for job interviews. Networking can take many forms. The following alumni chapters were created for the alumni students:

Alumni as Resource Persons

Alumni give contributions to the aspiring students. Alumni are invited as resource persons at various events, guest lectures, motivational speeches and panel discussions. And also alumni provide inputs and share their experiences regarding skills, recent technologies & trends in corporate world, application of knowledge and corporate working culture. Alumni as Member of IQAC

In Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Alumni student contribution as stake holder the members of IQAC. It helps the colleges in planning and monitoring. IQAC also gives stakeholders or beneficiaries a cross-sectional participation in the institution’s quality enhancement activities.

Alumni as Faculty Members

Count of Alumni of the Institution (from the inception)

“Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association” (HICETAA) is registered under the Tamil Nadu Registration of Societies Act 27 of 1975 with Registration no. 276 of 2016 dated 30th November 2016.

The Institution believes in building and nurturing relationships with alumni from different parts of the country. It acts as a bridge between alumni and current students. HICET graduates are dynamic, holding various high-level positions around the world and demonstrating their skills in a variety of fields such as Technology, Science and Management.

Alumni Fund Contribution

Alumni Book Contribution

Alumni members donated the Books to the Central Library, HiCET Campus. Technical and Non-Technical Engineering books were donated by our alumni members and students, as a mark of tribute to the college and to impart reading habits amongst Engineering Professionals. Collected books were arranged in a separate rack.

A group of alumni students donate the books to the central library for the benefit of students. Some of the book were donated to the students directly through department. UG and PG Alumnus from the batch of 2000 to 2022 donated the books to the Central Library, HiCET.
