HOD's Message

"β€œIt takes a dream to get started, desire to keep going and determination to finish” β€œEducation is not the learning of facts, but the training of mind to think” Civil Engineering is about shaping natural and built environment we live in, how we protect ourselves from the environment and how to protect the environment from us. Civil Engineers are the brains behind all the largest and most essential structures that surround us and so their value within society is great. If you choose to pursue a Civil Engineering degree, you’ll discover the extent to which Civil Engineers shape, build, maintain and expand civilizations. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Civil Engineering of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology. The Department offers a four-year B.E. Degree programme in Civil Engineering. Our main goal is to facilitate young minds to learn, explore and invent within and beyond the classroom. Our undergraduate programme provides the students with the core skills needed to excel as engineers in today's competitive world. The latest curriculum offers a fine blend of classroom lectures, laboratory demonstrations, project works and internships, that accentuates the problem solving skills indispensable for the Civil Engineering discipline. Our faculty team is committed to instill and develop creativity, logical thinking, leadership skills and professional ethics of students for their prosperous career and lifelong learning."
