It grooms the students by offering a blend of technical and soft skills to meet corporate expectations. The department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members and possesses well equipped laboratory. Faculty and students are exposed to recent technological developments through regular Industry- Institution Interactions. The department has established center of excellence in the field of Artificial Intelligence in association with Honey well, Celonis and IBM. The department has well-equipped laboratories with latest computers and software. Students are well trained right from the basic programming languages like Programming in C, Object Oriented Programming, Network Programming and Java Programming. Students are taught and made to work on programs on their own ideas beyond their syllabus and are made to work on technical questions as required by the software development companies . Internet browsing is available through 1024 Mbps connection.
They are trained on Visual Programming, Web development etc., which enables them to create their own web pages. They are trained and let to present technical seminars and do socially relevant projects which are installed and maintained by them in many commercial places in Coimbatore.
